EDDIE & OZZIE AWARDS CALL FOR ENTRIES

Early Rate Submission Deadline: Friday, March 7th, 2025

The Folio: Eddie & Ozzie Awards is the most prestigious recognition program in the publishing community, recognizing excellence in editorial content and design across print and digital media. The Eddie & Ozzie Awards, are recognized industry-wide, receiving applications in the thousands annually from publications around the globe.

Categories range in topics from articles, essays, and full issue magazines, to blogs, podcasts, and video content to cover design, graphic design, illustration, photography, and more.

From small independent to the largest brands in the business, there are opportunities for organizations of all sizes to stand out. This year, many regional and expanded categories return. Start an entry here.

Who is eligible to win a Folio: Eddie & Ozzie Award?

All publications and websites are eligible—association/non-profit, b2b, city & regional, consumer, and custom/content marketing publications. The competition is organized so that brands compete within a group of their peers. The Eddies are categorized by topic/market, and the Ozzies are categorized by publication type and readership size. If you’re unsure of what category to select, you can read our classification guidelines or contact Vicky L. Whitaker at vlwhitaker@accessintel.com for assistance. International entries are welcome!

What are the eligibility dates for submissions?

Any content published between May 1, 2024, and May 16, 2025, is eligible.

Entry Deadline & Fees

  • FRIDAY, MARCH 7TH – EARLY RATE DEADLINE
  • MONDAY, MARCH 31ST – STANDARD DEADLINE
  • FRIDAY, MAY 9TH  – LATE DEADLINE

Early Rate: $299 for your first entry, $249 for each additional entry through March 7th.
Standard Rate: $375 for your first entry, and $325 for each additional entry from March 8th through March 31st.
Late Deadline: $450 for your first entry, and $400 for each additional entry from April 1st through May 9.

Note: Award entry fees are non-refundable.

How are the entries judged?

Entries are judged by an independent panel of media executives, as well as by the Eddie & Ozzie staff. We evaluate your entry based on creativity and innovation. Our most important criterion is proven success in aligning your brand’s mission with the end product.

What should my Editorial Statement of Purpose include?

Your mission statement/editorial statement of purpose should be a brief statement that tells our judges a little bit about your publication, the audience you serve and how your team goes about serving that audience.

When will the finalists be notified?

Finalists will be notified by mid-August 2025
